    Is this legal?

    Internship position - Web Dev and Design

    *** is a publishing house based in Bayswater. We produce various magazines and events, and need to maintain our various websites.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to help update our various website and get experience working with ASP, PHP, SQL, MySQL and other technologies.
    The job will involve simple page editing as well as integrating new templates and amending the design of our sites.

    The ability to work well with the following is essential:

    • HTML
    • PHP
    • ASP
    • SQL
    • MySQL
    • Graphics software i.e. Photoshop, Gimp etc.

    The successful candidate will also possess the following proven skills:
    • Fluent English
    • High level verbal communication
    • Attention to detail
    • Flare for Web Design

    This is a full time position for a period of 3 months – Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 with 1 hour lunch break.

    Pay is £95 per week.

        in the US they have developed a way round the minimum wage problem: unpaid internships.

              A 'full time position for a period of three months' sounds like a short-term contract and thus outside minimum wage law.
