80% it'll drop. I've been telling ya for ages now.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

There's obviously a bit of spare cash floating around my way.

A nice 2 bed cottage with a studio in the back garden had 14 people round to view it in the first weekend. Went to sealed final bids in a couple of days.

Maybe. If you find out for sure, let me know and I'll drop a flaming dog turd on his doorstep.

The odd thing is that in the village I live in (near Winchester, about 200 houses so not a big place), four of the nine houses with for sale signs outside have been sold over the past 2-3 weeks for very near to the asking price. And they weren't on the market for long.

Very odd. I still reckon anyone who buys a house at the moment - unless they have to - is nuts.

Of course those figures do not include repossessions. So actual figures far worse.

Well the economy is in recession so no surprise.

And why would most people care? If you sell low, you can buy low. If you could afford your mortgage yesterday, you can afford it today.

The only people it affects are those who 'invest(ed)' in property for financial gain, and the whole housing market was over-inflated for years anyway so it's probably coming to the 'true' realistic level.

Wait 20 years and sell in the next bubble, that's my expert advice.
