You can around our neck of the woods. There's a chap around the corner with a small herd of Herefords who sells his beef to one or two butchers in the area. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014 -
Well said. Your wine should never fight your food, it will lose. So a sweetish white wine with pâté to cut through the fat, and of course Bordeaux is classic with lamb. Especially at Easter, though personally I find the link a bit tasteless.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostI'd never mix a Mouton Rothschild 45 with foie gras; Deidesheim Riesling Spatlese 1998 would be much better. Some roast lamb will be fine with the Mouton Rothschild.Comment

Bitterbollen, my fave Dutch snack...mmmmmmmmmOf all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
