Yes. Agent called offering very vague job description on condition I provide phone numbers and names of 4 referees. I am now looking for that bastard who disallowed my try last weekend; well, the agent asked for referees, so he’ll get them.Originally posted by Pogle View PostHmm are you having a bit of a bad day - you're coming across very grumpy today? And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Mich married a Chav, he was expecting a Mouton Rothschild 45 and some Foie Gras pate as a starter, but he got Dairylee slices and a can of Vimto. Still he can be sure of getting his teeth clean afterwards.Comment

Does Holland still have those takeaway snack places you can smell from a good mile or two away? I hated 'em, but I did like the schwerma restaurants - excellent after a night on the beer.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment

I'd never mix a Mouton Rothschild 45 with foie gras; Deidesheim Riesling Spatlese 1998 would be much better. Some roast lamb will be fine with the Mouton Rothschild.Originally posted by Foxy Moron View PostMich married a Chav, he was expecting a Mouton Rothschild 45 and some Foie Gras pate as a starter, but he got Dairylee slices and a can of Vimto. And you cannot get decent beef over here Mitch, end of story.Oh, I’m sorry….I seem to be lost. I was looking for the sane side of town. I’d ask you for directions, but I have a feeling you’ve never been there and I’d be wasting my time.Comment

I thought you would say that! I would never mix Dairylee with Vimto! You almost fell for it!Last edited by Foxy Moron; 26 March 2009, 16:29.Comment
