It did go on a bit...I turned over after he'd been lying on the floor for 10 minutes.Gas masks don't fit snails...

Yep definately stuff on radio is better. There is a fine line between "raising profile" and selling out....he has to be careful not to step over it! I suppose that's why Lee has never been "mainstream" - he, like Hicks, refuses to sell out at all.Originally posted by TheBigD View PostI quite like Marcus Brigstock too. Can be very funny when he's on The Now Show on Radio 4. My only gripe is when he turns up on crap shows like Hole in the Wall seeking publicity. He may not have a massive profile, but he's much too talented to be on that pile of tulip!"Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny. The "rap stars" bit last week was the same for me - "you know them, they hang out .... etc "Originally posted by BrianSnail View PostIt did go on a bit...I turned over after he'd been lying on the floor for 10 minutes."Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny. Yep, see Lee Mack, a very good stand up but rubbish in Not Going Out.
IMHO, Boothby Graffoe is one of the best stand ups never to make it bigThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment
