    WTF is a chaise longue doing in the bathroom?
    I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt, not that fancy store-bought dirt... I can't compete with that stuff.

      It says
      Both the kitchen and the library/study are bespoke fitted with high specification furniture by 'Christians'.
      They should have got atheists instead.

        Soaking up the smell if someone goes for a tulip.

          Looks like two council semis with a large and well kept garden.

            Yeah I thought that one was horrible and massively overpriced too.

            Actually I'd rather have something modern, cutting edge, than a period property.

              The brickwork looks like a chavvy council house.

              I was expecting to see a shopping trolley slung up on the roof.

                You can build a 4- or 5-bedroom house for 60-120k. Land that you may not build on costs a paltry few thousand for say 1/2-acre.

                All the rest is artificial scarcity value of building (or built-up) land in particular areas.

                  Is there anywhere in Britain where they’d let me build something like these? Don’t say Milton Keynes or Slough;

                  Trust me, you do not want a house with a flat roof in Britain.

                      Those both look hideously office-like imo.
