They weren't exactly water-boarded were they? Compared with spending 3 nights in the back of a van with a bunch of radicalized muslims from lancashire I would say they got a pretty good deal.

Seriously, officers have a reason to suspect. They take subjects "downtown" questioning. Find there supsicions are misplaced. Subjects released and compensated for their trouble.

How the fook else do you expect a police force to operate? Hauling people in for questions is par for the course.

The use and abuse of anti-terrorism laws are boring until it’s used against yourself by authorities such as the local counsel gathering information about which school your kids qualify to attend ( As Poole Council did) or arresting train spotters for writing down train numbers. Luckily for the Palestinians, the 'urgently' need water and food should arrive today. How they have survived so long without water is a mystery.

Nothing mentioned here in Denmark. There is some gang war going on and the weekend headline was that it's causing the girlies not to party so much, so an awful lot of the guys are up in arms about it. No kidding, there was a big demonstration today demanding the politicians and police do something to encourage the girls to continue partying. Todays news is the main political grouping said they definitely will not have differential VAT rates, i.e. drop the rate for the kinds of goods partying girlies would buy, and that's prompted loads of talking heads on the TV.
