The SAS started out in WW2 with unarmoured Jeeps in the desert festooned with machine guns, much in modern warfare has moved on in leaps and bounds but not in this case.
Really they could do with some kind of armoured invisible stealth hovercraft to replace the Landrover. With machine guns, and rockets and stuff.
Listen you sanctimonious old tw@t try and understand the concept of chain of command and just appreciate that people out there are giving their lives to support the values that ar$eholes like you seem to take for granted
"I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win. If they're not good enough, they'll not win - and they can't look at anybody else, whether it is referees or any other influence." - Walter Smith
22nd SAS are out there doing tulip that you wouldnt and couldnt be able to do [even if your lame ass tried] - whether you agree with it or not - show a little respect for these people. The tulipe these guys have to put up with and lies from Politicians is shocking! Yet they are still the most feared SF in the world....that shows something!
It is good to see our SF coming out on issues like these.

Which values are those? Polite conversation and reasoned debate?

The new version of the "Snatch" Land Rover is currently being deployed to Afghanistan I believe. This new "Snatch Vixen" (now there's a Google search with interesting potential) is a beefed up version specifically developed for the conflict in Afghanistan, with more power and armour. Hopefully it'll do the job and offer the guys and girls out there some much needed protection.
