Yes, I'd much rather be blown to pieces and leave my young family without a father.
Beats £100K a year writing the odd bit of code in a modern office with great pubs nearby and crumpet in revealing clothes all around.
Hats off to them though.Comment

My worst assumptions about the members of this board have been confirmed.
There will always be those that are prepared to put a uniform on, and those that aren't.
When you can't even spare a second of your life to say thanks to those who do wear the uniform, where does that leave the country. You seem to have plenty of time to discuss trivia.
I'm ******* appalled...Older and ...well, just older!!Comment

I fought in 'nam with Threaded so they have my upmost respect! Seriously, much respect for these people. They don't ask to be sent out there by idiots like Blair. The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

God bless Tony Blair for sending the troops in and saving Britain from weapons of mass destruction.
