I'm glad Blair had to sit through a screening of "meet the fockers" with Dubbya.

Its a shame One-Eyed Gordon wont be made to sit through a trashy comedy film too

It's been a long time since I was in the Glasgow University Union but I am fairly sure that Gordon Brown has a trophy in a cabinet after winning the UK universities debating competition.

      Again

Dr Liam Fox was a member of the Glasgow University Union Debating club , we were both in our Secondary Schools debating club - I decided not to go to Glasgow University after leaving school but instead lived a rock'roll lifestyle.

        Well - kind of.

I went to Stathclyde but as I lived round the corner from Glasgow Uni I was always in using the facilities. It was like gentleman's club for students, go into one of the study rooms and there would be a coal fire, get a beer, light a cig, get the books out. Champion.

Don't think so. I was at Glasgow University at the same time (won a good bursary so the free money made the choice inevitable) and I didn't see him there. I did go to some Union debates, though more often to the Freds....

Good article. The Times is swinging towards the Tories -- they've always had a liking for Nu Labour.

                    Oh no. Not again.

Should we go back to employing people to dress our leaders?

'Cos they're too blind to dress themselves.
