My wife is taking the kids to see the x factor show tonight - my son was with me at Metallica last night so something of a change of gear there. I'm going to the pub instead. Saturday I'm off to see one of my mates down south for some more beers and Sunday will be a day of rest for the good Catholic boy that I am.

Out drinking with 15 mates, one of them is a banker with Lloyds TSB who is still in line for a big bonus... we're going to kick his f****n' head in.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment
