What are they doing to show respect and dignity for the four servicemen killed in Afghanistan yesterday?
Playing a different song, The Flowers of the Forest, as they do for every British soldier killed in Afghanistan.
As another song asked,
Did they beat the drum slowly, did they play the fife lowly,
Did they play the Dead March as they lowered you down?
Did the band play the Last Post and chorus?
Did the pipes play the Flowers o' the Forest?
What are they doing to show respect and dignity for the four servicemen killed in Afghanistan yesterday?
Well I can't quote verbatim but.....
The Prime Minister reads the names of Service Men(&women) killed and some phrase such as "We Honour them"...
and all the plebs/nutters and other politicians present in the House sit quietly and don't fart and burp for a while.... They did this (as usual) yesterday before GB went into his specific comments about Cam Jnr.
