You would have live-in maids and a driver, a large house with air-con, expatriate schools with an element of discipline, and no shortage of well paid (by local standards) It work.
Or is the heat, chaos and dirt of India too much?
Bangalore and Delhi are cleaner cities than most in England!

If you need a hand packing your bags, please let me know.

      Plenty quickness, much cheapness.

It's good that you're retraining to work more in keeping with your intellect.

That might not be that different if you come from East London. But honestly, do you know anybody who manage to do that? Living in India is not exactly the same as living in Montecarlo or Liechtenstein... and I don't think the expat community is that large to be able to help so much...
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

OK so that's 1 out of 4. They do speak English in England (just about).

Perhaps that should be the skill to talk out of your arse ....it seems that a large proportion of our leaders only possess that single skill.

I think there is a quite a large expat community in Bangalore.

I have been an expat myself, hence the forum name, whimsical for someone who now only expatriates himself as far as Northern Europe.

I'd seriously recommend it for a single person with a little sense of adventure, few ties, and an urge to see something of the world. I'd question it for a family, which it looks like is what is on the cards here.
