If you need a hand packing your bags, please let me know.Originally posted by sasguru View PostInterestingly no one has mentioned India, maybe Bangalore.
You would have live-in maids and a driver, a large house with air-con, expatriate schools with an element of discipline, and no shortage of well paid (by local standards) It work.
Or is the heat, chaos and dirt of India too much?
Plenty quickness, much cheapness.Comment

That might not be that different if you come from East London. But honestly, do you know anybody who manage to do that? Living in India is not exactly the same as living in Montecarlo or Liechtenstein... and I don't think the expat community is that large to be able to help so much...Originally posted by sasguru View PostInterestingly no one has mentioned India, maybe Bangalore.

I have been an expat myself, hence the forum name, whimsical for someone who now only expatriates himself as far as Northern Europe.Originally posted by sasguru View PostInterestingly no one has mentioned India, maybe Bangalore.

I'd seriously recommend it for a single person with a little sense of adventure, few ties, and an urge to see something of the world. I'd question it for a family, which it looks like is what is on the cards here.Comment
