I'll be avoiding them from now on if this is true for the same reasons as I stopped using Asda when I found out they had concessions seelling halal meat in some of their stores in the midlands. I know there is cruelty in conventional meat production but I only eat meat when, to the best of my knowledge, it has been produced in a humane way. I know that I can never be 100% sure of this and it would be better to be vegetarian but to me the Halal/kosher method is just cruel by design. Should it be banned? Probably not as it would result in the import of meat from places where there are no aninmal welfare standards at all - at least here it can be regulated to some degree.

Domino's does Halal

Not sure I understand what the fuss is.
So one of Domino's outlets has customised it's menu based on what it's customer base wants.
You do realise that many food companies produce halal and kosher products.
Where's the problem? Or has your particular favourite been removed from the only outlet in your area?Comment

Because it is a religious restriction that Domino's has imposed on all its customers in that area - they are not giving their customers a choice. They are of course free to do so, but so are their customers free to buy their pizzas elsewhere. That is the risk they have taken.Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostNon Muslims can eat Halal food.
Muslims cannot eat non Halal food.
Where's the problem? Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment

Well as their business has picked up since making the change, its clear that they are now giving their customers a choice.Originally posted by PM-Junkie View PostBecause it is a religious restriction that Domino's has imposed on all its customers in that area - they are not giving their customers a choice. Take or leave it, is that the choice you mean?Comment

I am referring to corporate figures, not local. They are not just a local business, that is why they are running a risk.Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostWell as their business has picked up since making the change, its clear that they are now giving their customers a choice.

Everybody in that area now has a choice of whether to eat at that Dominos or not.Originally posted by expat View Postits clear that they are now giving their customers a choice?

Whereas before, only non Muslim could eat there.
And as proof, the business is turning more of a profit since changing, therefore more customers are walking through the door...therefore more customers in that area are happier with the current choice.
It was a "take it or leave it" regime before - not now. Now everyone can eat there. The pope is a tard.Comment

Very similar to Kosher. When I was working in Israel I had to eat Kosher food and a lot of it tasted like tulip, honestly. The best was the Magnum made from non-milk products.Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostHas anyone on here atually tasted Halal meat and compared it with non Halal stuff?
I wonder if they use vegetable oil or vegetable based products for frying or is the meat based products also Halal?
Interestingly enough, Gummi Bears used to include beef based products (the jelly bit) but since BSE they switched to pork based which means that Muslim and Jewish people cannot eat them now. Is that biased?“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

I will not be eating Dominos because they are sheet, does that count? The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

Wrong. Muslim people could have eaten just vegetarian pizzas. Can Jewish people eat there? Do they provide a Kosher pizza?Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostEverybody in that area now has a choice of whether to eat at that Dominos or not.
