    I tend to write things out in full and I turned off predictive text as I didn't get on with it.

    Are we all old gits?

                I despise txtsp34k and people who're too lazy to use the right words, THERE isn't a substitute for they're or their as all 3 have separate meanings.

                On the occasions I do send text messages i too write them out properly with punctuation and capitals where appropriate.

                    Me too. My partner has said that I am the only person she can imagine using the word "precipitation" in a text.
