I personally wouldn't change that response - it's the essence of CUK.

You have to have a very thick skin on here and a very good sense of humour.
And if you obey the rules, you will find your answers

I've just found <snip> - it looks like a pretty new site. Lots of resources though, and not just for IT contractors like this site. I'd be interested to see if they get sued if agencies and dodgy accountancy/umbrella companies get bad reviews?

They have a <snip> although it's nowhere near as active as this place.

I've had that before with a site, can't remember which... I think I had to clear the cache. No idea why.

Correct, but the site "should" be compatible with all browsers

I am a little bit to be honest.

That whole farce about the Survey made me loose all actual respect for the site itself - which I used to hold in quite high regard.
I think they're probably getting massive back handers from various accountancies and agencies - which is such a betrayal..

I do hold the site in high regard. Not as high as I'd like to: we would all like to have a community, but CUK is just a business. I don't believe it's corrupt (once you accept that it is a business and not a community) though it makes some mistakes in its recommendations; we all do. DYOR, and neither reading CUK articles nor asking the posters is tantamount to having done your research (especially now that so many articles are just a précis of postings on the boards )

CUK is a business, not a community, but IMHO it's the best we've got. We are the community. That's why I still post here.
