Do you have a game console ?

I came with a hand held entertainment system built in which has given me many hours of pleasure, especially when away for a gig and there's nothing on the hotel TV.

It's also great for two player games with the missus. She seems to get the right hump with me continually coming first though.

I thought about signing up for some online gaming, although the missus wasn't so keen. Too high risk of catching a virus she says.

And PCs but don't bother with games spec PCs as I don't fancy having to upgrade my graphics card everytime a new gen game comes out - I know whenever I buy an XBOX game I can play it.

Same here, I gave up the constant upgrade race when HL2 was unplayable with all the bells and whistles turned on. Besides I can now play fast paced good looking games on a large screen with 5.1 sound from the comfort of my sofa rather than sitting in my office with my face 10 inches from the screen.

Of course a top spec PC will outperform a 3 year old console (at a price) but the current batch are better than anything that came before and they are now often the lead format when it comes to development. PC gaming has become a niche market.

fell out with my 360 due to crap "live" on COD4 and 5. fell out with it that much i sold it to nephew for his boyfriends xmas pressie.

Have a wii, PS3, and 2 NDS (and a game cube, PS1, PS2 and dreamcast but they're ina cupboard!). My lad and his mates are never off the wii, and the PS3 is constantly on but mainly for the media centre and bluray.

Never could see the point of wasting so much time on computer games. Get outside, take up a sport, get some fresh air.

Have a mate that plays them all the time - what will he have to show for it?
Another friend spends all day playing them - but he designs and tests them for a living.

Gamecube that my son plays mostly, although I will help him kill particularly tough monsters etc. £5 for games on ebay, even replaced the whole console for £11 when it stopped reading discs

I'll get a Wii when they're equally as cheap
