      My philosophy is :

      Que Será Será
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I'm with you... I love my magic 8 ball.

As for Andyw - it's the CUK law, you will get used to it.

Socrates ? Didnt he play for Brazil ?

But he's wrong because I know a little something or other ... perhaps.

I wonder who your favourite Philosopher might be ?

Let me guess - is it - Wittgenstein - oh Ive probably mis-spelt his name , but he woulldnt mind - nothing really matters.

            He did say that.
And - that which cannot be described must be passed over in silence.

I have it from the very highest authority that "Wittgenstein was a beery swine
Who was just as schloshed as Schlegel."
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

When I lived in Paris I used to hang out in various cafes with a crumpled 50s suit , hand crafted black Hat ffrom Rome and I guess I did look pretty intense.

These days though , crestfallen ,I sweep the streets of Basingstoke - I see people walk by me without a problem - friends turn and start to laugh.

                      Can't say I have a favourite philosopher.

I don't have much time for philosopy and consider navel-gazing a waste of time. It's not a very useful skill is it ?
