The other week, there was a group of singing faithful on the street near my client, spreading the Word through the power of song. A couple of old dears were handing out leaflets. No matter how many times I walked past, they never even attempted to give me a leaflet.
At my home station last week there was a man advertising the Alpha course. He didn't attempt to persaude me to join.

Yet every time I venture out on to the street I am handed leaflets about weight loss
