The Case Against Brown
"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." Cicero -
When I'm watching my footy team and the ref makes a bad error, we all sing: "You don't know what you're doing"
We could sing it constantly outside Downing Street. -
Actually you are not allowed to demonstrate closer than Trafalgar square. Since we have a really stupid electorate who lets the government get away with civil right crushing.Originally posted by Doggy Styles View PostWe could sing it constantly outside Downing Street.

Don't think so. They brought in legislation to stop the guy protesting against the war, but they were then told by the courts that they couldn't move him on, since he was there before the legislation...Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostDont you have to be lobbying your MP?

That said, every so often, there are some "temporary loons" that turn up - this week, it's a hunger strike in aid of Gaza, and another one in aid of the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka.
Every so often, there is some bloke shouting about how the freemasons murdered Chief Constable Todd.Comment
