FYI:Originally posted by Moscow Mule View PostIt's very fashionable to knock the BBC, but I think they are right not to broadcast the DEC advert.
They don't broadcast the other DEC adverts why should they make a change in this case?
BBC ran a DEC appeal for the Congo in 2008
BBC ran a DEC appeal for Sudan in 2004
BBC ran a DEC appeal for Kosovo in 1999
BBC ran a DEC appeal for Rwanda in 1994
BBC ran a DEC appeal for 'Former Yugoslavia' in 1994
So I think you should do your research before you comment.

Tony is the Quartet representative I think. Totally useless in this instance. Probably time to pack it in and write his memoirs.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostYou've got Tony Bliar as Middle-East Peace Envoy. What more do you want FFS?!!

This was not a war, it was a massacre. Over 1350 people dead, 500 of them being innocent Palestinian children.Originally posted by minestrone View PostIt does them for civil wars, not international wars, anyway why don't you go and hassle SKY as well.
How many israeli's died?
It is the Zionists' objective to wipe out the Palestinian's, always has been since they stole the land with their illegal settlements. They do not want a truce, they want the land. And by the looks of it, they thought they would succeed this time, but what they fail to realise is that Palestinians will resist until they die - afterall, it is their home that is being destroyed.
It is hard to comprehend the destruction in Gaza, and BBC/SKY do well in hiding the truth.Comment
