Indeed, but it does have a plentiful supply of trained electricians, plumbers, engineers, scientists and other people who can be quite handy when attempting to build a power station. Britain hasn't, and certainly didn't when these contracts were signed.

... and so do we, now that Labour have put 90,000 builders out of work recently. British workers should have first pick of jobs in our country. Could you see the French or Spanish just sitting back and accepting this situation in their countries? Imagine a barge full of english workers sitting off the coast of France doing French jobs while the French sat at home unemployed!!

Your answer would be a big naive 'YES' of course !!

Yes, I have work in another EU country because apparently I'm the best candidate for the job (which isn't saying much admittedly). That's the only criteria an employer should have to use. Anyone who moans that they've lost their job to an immigrant is a useless loser who should have done better.

HUNDREDS of Swindon staff are facing redundancy – because of ‘globalisation gone mad’.

Tyco Electronics UK, which has its head office in Dorcan, is understood to be making 223 workers redundant.

This includes around 100 employees at its Cheney Manor factory. Work will be transferred to the Czech Republic.

Tyco designs and manufactures electronic components.

Hot on the heels of Honda shutting down for 4 months.

At this rate Swindon won't be worth living in.

I'd quite forgotten the name 'Dorcan', then you mention it and bring it all flooding back.

Thanks for that, I shall do the same favour to you one day. Possibly down a dark alley when you're not expecting it.

About 99% of the work building a nuclear power station requires no previous direct experience. Apart from the heat source a coal fired power station is pretty much the same as a nuclear power station.

And yes I know what I am talking about with a BEng(Hons)
                in Mechanical Engineering.

Perhaps you can discuss it with our Tester friend because I find it akin to talking to the proverbial brick wall !! He is in complete denial and surely must be a Labour supporter because he shows all of the traits !!

                    Sir

Anybody whom has anyone whom has gained the above degree has my upmost respect - Mechanical Engineering being one of the most difficult degreees to acquire.

How does a Masters in Engineering Design rate?
