With the price flatlined at 109.x, I wouldn't put money into Barclays. And with RBS on the verge of collapse, is it worth putting any money into their shares? Am not sure who LBG is, but ok.If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here. -
Lloyds Banking Group, and this is short term positions, I would look for 20-50% gains and then dump them, just to see if I can come out ahead!!!Comment

Yeh I jumped into RBS at 20p a few days ago - round about the 500 quid mark. Should have put the f***in house on, always the way!Originally posted by Solidec View PostLloyds Banking Group, and this is short term positions, I would look for 20-50% gains and then dump them, just to see if I can come out ahead!!!

Ive just gone into BARC again on a 12 month. Monday may see some movement but alot of the good news already is factored in over the past 2 weeks. With Barcs former Lehman outfit poised to make alot of money - it will be interesting timesOriginally posted by Solidec View PostJust opened an account with Hargreaves Lansdown, am ready to take a punt on some bank shares, no more than £500 for now.
Am gonna be ready at stupid O clock in the morning to see the Barclays report and may dive in, but more likely will go for RBS and LBG.Comment

Good for day-trading but so many unknowns that nationalisation could still happen. Just don't hold over a weekend.
