Wow, there are loads of these lodge things round here. And such intriguing names. The Alchemy Lodge sounds like a lucrative one to join (provided you don’t have to go to too many meetings before they give you the secret). The “Lodge of Temperance” sounds a bit dull mind.
Quite a few of the older lodges were at one time "Temperance" lodges... Most of 'em ain't now.......

Don't masons get up to masked rumpy-pumpy with insatiable, lithe, broad-minded young women as seen in the film 'Eyes Wide Shut'?
If yes I want in.
Sounds a bit “all boys together” for that kind of thing. Ideal for computer geeks really. In fact that mason’s web site makes it sound a bit like a male only amateur dramatics group.
There could be something in it. I got very near to joining a while ago but didn't go through with it because I couldn't spare the time to go to the LOI (Lodge Of Instruction) meetings every week to learn the rituals.
I have some friends who are Masons but none of them will ever give anything away on the goings-on at the meetings or rituals, regardless of how pissed they get and how lose-tongued they become on other subjects (marital indiscretions, Brushes with the police, etc). One such aquantance joined with the expressed intention of finding out as much as possible and then spilling the beans. He joined and went through to the third degree over a number of years - during which time he gave absolutely nothing away. He's now sort of left and become a "country member" (no I haven't a clue what that is either) and swears he can't divulge.
What pressure can they possible bring to bear on a person - even after they've left - that prevents them from telling all?
