That reminds me, anyone heard of The Utility Warehouse? I've been recommended to look into them as a source of cheaper energy.

I'm generally skeptical and lazy so probably can't be bothered moving to yet another provider ... though I may just do it to "vote with my feet" against EON.

Eon sent us a letter saying that our direct debit was going up to £497 per month last week.

Last year they wanted to increase it to £2000+ per month!

are there any houses in the whole of Rochdale that could use that much gas?

Write to them and complain. My last quarterly bill was over £500.

Just wrote to my Gas and Electric provider to complain about their prices. Really bugs me how the energy companies are ripping off the public.

Cheap energy just adds to Global Warming.

There should be a huge tax on energy to save the world from frying.

I pay £150 per month for gas and electric. But its a 4 bed, 3 reception room house. with lots of electrical appliances. and a double bath. and air conditioning.
