He was just an annoying little troll, but he did manage to wreck just about every thread on here for a while and it was a huge relief to see the back of him.

None of the newer trolls have exhibited quite the same traits, they all milk a single point for longer in more sophisticated ways, rather than trash everything with innane drivel and insults as our Andyw used to, highlighting his limited intellectual development.

Back to the original point, you will find contractors that fit all four of your scenarios, although I detect less conspicous flashing of the cash now than I did during the late 1990s.

Interesting thread. I'm intrigued by this comment by sasguru:

"Although Atw generally posts something approaching sense."

I think that is an example of Dramatic Irony.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

Dramatic Irony is West Ham getting a last-minute winner.

Exactly. I think SG would rather have seen the back of atw than andyw.

The first member is obviously quite technically gifted. But this is where it finishes. He constantly tries to have the last word on every thread. He offers advice to everyone about every subject. He's a real know-it-all, but really seems to know nothing. As someone once said about Lisa in a Simpsons episode - 'Oh here she comes an answer to a question nobody asked'. Anyway my question is, do you think this member has anything else in his life and how can we stop him offering stupid advice to everyone?
                Who was MF talking about?
