The best investment is property. Buy it, hold it for the long-term and because of the laws of supply and demand, plus inflation, you will see a far better return than on shares, that are taxed from the day that you buy them by stamp duty , charged fees on throughout the period that you hold, and then again with capital gains when you sell, if you are on of the few lucky enough to have made a gain !!!!
