Anybody knows much about PSU currents?

    This is likely to be the reason -- I put that major blower next to CPU and its still running heavy 100% CPU usage process, will see if it manages few more hours, if that's the case then the issue is definately cooling of CPU.

    Am I right assuming that cooler can be changed fairly easily?

      Yes. Two issues. One is space around chip. The other is it can be a fiddly old job when the Heatsink is massive.

            Can I just change cooler on it? This has got to be the reason as everything else was tried, will leave it running overnight to see if it survives
