So on this issue, Labour are right and the Tories wrong, but for everything else it's the other way round?

I'm not a political sheep. I'm very right wing in my views, but will quite happily vote for a socialist party if it meets my agenda, i.e. independence for Scotland.

Stupid headline. She said "greater than we have known", not "greatest in history". She didn't say it would be as bad as the Great Anarchy of King Stephen.

I would love independence for Scotland. For a start the tories would be permanently in power in England.

The Tories have only themselves to thank for losing Scotland. When I was growing up big swathes of Scotland were tory heartlands, then came the disaster of the Poll Tax 'trial' (although people were always moaning about Maggie taking the milk away as well).

For what it's worth, I think Maggie was the best PM we've ever had.

Same here. Having voted Labour, Lib Dem and Tory in the past, I'm voting Tory next time on the single issue of Nazi/Stalinist Id cards.

ID cards are an EU driven policy, the Tories won't scrap them. From day 1, they'll get the ministerial brief and they'll be 'advised' as to why there is a requirment for a National Identity scheme.

Have you read her views on ID cards?
