It's a Labour policy to destroy movement of people. Lets have 500 different incompatible charging systems with £150 fines for those who didn't know they were entering a boundary.

By voting yes you are supporting Labour's attack on the motorist.

Never mind. You'll get your chance to support Brown at the polls soon enough.

How many morons are there now on CUK?

It's like a magnet for moronic.
Even if half of it went on quangos and civil servants pension pots we'd still be hugely better off. Manchester has shot itself in the foot. What are we left with? Congestion continues, public transport links remain uncompleted, parking charges no doubt continue to shoot up due to demand, train fares continue to shoot up in attempt at raising funds. All to comfort Dave BMW from Accounts who has to drive 3 miles in from Cheadle.

I can assure you I will not be voting for Brown come the next elections, not that my general election voting preferences are any of your business given its a democracy we live in

However, I fail to see how my voting habits re: general elections are relevant to a local referendum on improving transport links that would benefit me personally..

Is it not allowable in your eyes to therefore vote yes for a congestion charge with improved transport but against labour in the next elections? .. i believe it is as that is what I will be doing..

Dont be nasty to Dave. He has had a bad time recently - he broke his arm playing rugby you know. Show some sympathy.

Yeah and Nobody told him Cheadle was 10 miles away. All this time he'd been living in Moss Side!
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I would rather taxes were extracted from stupid, lazy inconsiderate motorists than intelligent, fit pillars of the community like cyclists. Tax the stupid I say.

I mean, I go and visit my mum, but not during the week in the rush hour.
Firstly she couldn't use the M60, so would have to divert down back roads, I suspect many people would do this, making residential areas congested. Anyway, why should they be allowed to control anyones movements? This is suposedly a free country the time of day shouldn't restrict your choices.

                  Good result.

Development of decent public transport should not be based on ripping people off.

"train fares continue to shoot up in attempt at raising funds" Is this like the train from Rochdale to Vitoria which is crammed in the morning and evening? You know the one where you can't get a seat - that 'underused' one.

"All to comfort Dave BMW from Accounts who has to drive 3 miles in from Cheadle" There must me more Daves than you as the No vote won in every region.

If they really wanted to reduce congesstion then they should improve the public transport system without the need for an extra charge. If they improved the public transport then more people would use it without having to levy yet another tax to force them to do it.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                      I preferred version 1!
