I've flown Air Burundi. No smoking light went off 1/2 second after takeoff. Some seats were marked Air France and some weren't, like an old banger with different coloured door. Bits fell off seats during the flight.

Sudan Air, Air Zaire, Aeroperu, and internal Bolivian and Colombian flights were all a breeze compared to that. And no, I don't run drugs, I was just trying to get away from it all.

It's pretty obvious what's behind this sudden bout of Kraut honesty (and accuracy).

Brown and/or Lord Fondlebums of Boys have secretly been sounding out the EU with a view to the UK joining the Euro, and the Germans are quite rightly aghast at the prospect.

After all, they have enough on their plate trying to shore up Italy, Spain, Greece etc, without some new bunch of losers weighing them down.

All this talk of V8s and supercars and Dim buys a BMW 3 series
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Phaetons are going for reasonable prices right now. I might look into it.
