Worked for a big financial and ended up without a manager so there was no work for me.

Used to go out for lunch and have a few pints then come back and go for a sleep for a couple of hours in the nurses room, just put a do not disturb sign up. Did this for months.

        I love my current job...

I'm working on a process where guys working out in the field get jobs sent to them on their PDA's. They get in their vans, get to the job and send back any info.
I grab this info and store in my data warehouse, which I point loads of various reports at.

I'm also working on processes which will send a text to the guys mobiles if a job comes in during the night.

As I normally just work on boring Financials or HR Systems, this is as exciting as it gets for me!!

My last project was brilliant; GIS tracking ambulances, fire engines and police units around the country. Did one once testing software for tracking polution spillages at a water board. Some brilliant telecoms stuff along the way. Now bored out of my brains but slowly getting stinking rich at a bank.

                      Careless Whisper?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
