    Uber Boomed!!

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7764550.stm

HM Revenue & Customs is to close more than 90 offices across the UK and cut 3,400 jobs, the PCS union has said.

The union had already warned that 500 jobs would go with the closure of 10 offices in Wales.

Its general secretary Mark Serwotka has said the union will campaign to keep as many offices open as possible.

The PCS has warned the department's ability to collect revenues and provide tax advice would be undermined by the closures and loss of experienced staff.

Becuase they've finally realised they are overstaffed as well as useless and for each £ spent they don't collect a £ in return?

Yes but saving 3400x worth of wages every year probably outweighs the £20,000 they recover from 4 years of legal battles with small businesses.

            Smart move imo.

Plus they may have the opportunity to go and earn stacks in the private sector as tax insurance specialists thus swelling the ranks fighting against Hector investigations!
