How about if I measure the diameter of the coin and work out exactly the amount of pressure to apply, taking into account such factors as:
Thickness of chocolate
cocoa content of chocolate (-the higher the cocoa content the more brittle I find it. 70% cocoa and upwards can be tough to snap.)
ambient temperature etc..

The thing to do with chocolate money is to take a small knife and gently slide it around the edge of the top piece of foil, allowing it to fall off the coin. Do the same to the bottom foil, around the chocolate, to get the chocolate out. Put the top foil back on the bottom foil. Offer coin to someone else, whilst eating chocolate and laughing heartedly to yourself.

Ah but the foil is the fun bit of it, its shiney and gold (or silver) and you can pretend it pirate treasure - or something.

Mind you I can't be doin with white chocolate coins - its just not the same.
