      Traditional, no choccy, no aliens, no Disney, no cartoons.

      But . . . . . . . . . we all have a guess at what's behind each days' door, and whoever gets it right gets a choccy. Except me. I don't eat choccy, so I get sod all.
      The vegetarian option.

            Got my kids an advent calendar with choccies each over the week-end. I explained to my six year-old daughter that it was one chocolate for each day in December up to Christmas.

            1/2 an hour later I found that she had eaten the lot!

            I asked her why she did that after I had explained how it worked. She said she didn't know that I meant the December this year.

                  Got the little one a Thomas the Tank engine one. Apparently he has spent a good hour trying to work out how to get it down from the cupboard - only 20 months old!

                      DD has 1 advent calender - of a religious nature, so no choccie, and also a 'Countdown to New Year' calender with a Dalek on it and chocs inside.
