Almost 9000 cases of cholera in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwean Deputy Health Minister Edwin Muguti told AFP news agency on Wednesday, "These are results of punitive illegal sanctions imposed on us by the West... I am sure they like what they are seeing from this outbreak."

We even cause cholera, is there no end to it?

I’ve had cholera. I consider myself lucky to have survived it (17% of infected people die). Some people think it’s funny but it’s really brown and runny.

Is it true that if you dont rehydrate immediately, you get shrivelled and wizened ? Didn't this strike the usa after Katrina ?

If you don’t get enough fluid you die within about 24 hours. Seeing as the muscle spasms make it difficult to swallow water, you have to get an intravenous drip to keep you alive. As your brain is starved of water you hallucinate, your muscles go into continuous spasms, blood comes out of your ar%e faster than you can put fluid into your body, you vomit anything you try to eat and you basically feel like you’re going to die and just wish it would happen quickly.

I lost about 3 stone in weight within a few weeks, but I can’t recommend it as a diet strategy; I’m sure there are less painful ways to lose weight.
