      What to do

      I has a supected broken rib(Lucky it was just bruised) and the fckers gave me ibibrufen and told me to come back if I cough up blood or am short of breath or I kid you not "If I experienced any severe chest pain"

      I was incensed at first but then after some research realised that there is not much they can do, and I believe the same goes for toes. It will basically heal by itself and the treatment of a broken or a bruised toe is the same so there is no point in really X-Raying etc.

      if you had private medical insurance they may "churn" and give you Xrays and follow-up consultations but basically if its starts hurting less its getting better

        I broke 2 toes about a year ago failing down the stairs. One of them was point in the wrong direction.
        The wife drove me to A&E and they sent me for an xray just in case.

        It took months for it to repair properly, and weeks before I could wear shoes for work.

          Ask your doctor for diclofenac or ‘Voltarol’. I broke my ribs a couple of months ago, which is also bloody painful, and it worked a treat.

            Voltarol worked for me - good anti-imflamatory drug.

                It’s common sense leadership like that that we need now.

                IMF Economic Recovery Advice;

                All stock market traders and business directors to stop for 15 minutes and have a nice cup of tea. Problem solved.

                Right, I'm off for a cuppa.
