Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe is back
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson -
I miss his Screen Burn column in the Saturday Graduand - It is evil and hilarious.I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

Agreed this is one of the funniest programmes on TV. I like the way he exposes/pokes fun at TV fakery. He was also one of the writers of the underated Nathan BarleyThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

have a look at www.tvgohome.com... which was Charlie Brookers comedy website before he became more well knownOriginally posted by Bagpuss View PostAgreed this is one of the funniest programmes on TV. Nathan Barley is derived from a fictional TV series on that website, when you see it you'll work out why the name had to be changed for real TV
[EDIT] I should point out... if you have a busy day ahead of you then DO NOT start trawling the archivesCoffee's for closersComment

I like how he described the little gay lad on X Factor as the peeled Jamie Oliver fetus

I can’t remember exactly what he said but it was something like that.
