I'm off to the states in February for two weeks and have to pay for the hotels in $
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

Yes it has - When I first worked out there it was at the $1.4 to the £. Granted there isn't much in it now, but it was lower.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

      I preferred version 1!

Well I was really considering the only currencies that are of value to me, CHF and EUR and for both it never been that low in the history (1.7 to the CHF so not that far away really).
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

Now .843p. This is seriously worrying, although I have Euros. We import much of our goods and this now will stoke inflation.

Brown must do something to cut public debt........ NOW!!!! He most certainly should not be increasing it.

Labour keep saying that inflation will fall. But with commodities priced in $ and imports in Euros, how will it fall?

This really is a major incentive to expand our farming industry and stick two fingers up at the EU.

It will fall when people can't afford to buy stuff
