Hope Virgin stay around. Fastest broadband access out of the lot.

Virgin have the most ridiculous complaints policy. They won't discuss an issue over the phone, you have to write to them and they get back to you around three weeks later.

Which of course helps your simmering resentment when you have a service issue.........

Supposedly (I've been told by three different people) it's all in their customer charter.... which I've never been able to find.

That was my first thought too.

            Really !

This thread is Virgin on the ridiculous !

            I suggest D-Flowered.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
