Poll tax, I would guess, which partly pays for the fire service.

a tax on fire crews are increasing, mr chanto, I also heard recently that the 999 service gives paramedics have a warning for households that have a history of abusing staff.
Apparently they have to wait for the police to escort them in. All very well if it's the abusive person who is having the heart attack , but it could be a kid or his granny.

Ah, I get it now - "attacks" not "a tax". very droll, chantho.

Indeed, they are on the increase - they were discussing the property blacklist for ambulance staff on Jeremy Vine the other day. It's a sad state of affairs, really.

Right-wing though it may be, machine-gunning the f--kers that stone and otherwise attack fire crews is the only language they'd understand, if they weren't dead from ... er ... having been machine-gunned to death.

Don't you have a more "efficient" mens of extermination, or are you only an apprentice Dalek?
