Hamilton has won the F1 championship fair and square. I know this is not fashionable (the "guiltys" cannot bear anyone British doing well) but I for one am delighted that he won.
I don't care if he is English or not, I don't like his attitude, or the over-hype by ITV. He's not the fastest driver in F1, he hardly ever puts in a fastest lap time, he's not the best. He a consistent driver in the fastest car. One that is particularly drivable in the wet. There are 4 or 5 other drivers who could have done at least as well as Hamilton and almost certainly better! FFS Massa almost beat him! and I wouldn't even put him in the top 5, he's not even the fastest at Ferrari

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

More than James Allen and some of the posters on this board. Put Hamilton in the Torro Rosso and he would not have won a race.

Hamilton is very lucky that he is one of the few drivers to instantly land in the fastest car. Unlike most drivers - like Raikonen, Schumacher, Alonso and Massa who have had to toil for years before getting a fast ride.

That said, he is probably the third fastest driver out there in a car specifically made for him. Its Raikonen, Alonso, Hamilton in my book...and Alonso is the nicest guy out of the three by a mile.

If he's in the fastest car, how come they didn't win the constructor's title?

Put him in a Honda and he'd not have come second either. Which proves... feck all.

You're just upset because you don't like him.

They didn't because Kovalainen isn't very good (stop gap when they lost Alonso) but Kimi Raikonen is, poor season this year but still made a record in number of lap times. It's well known the McClaren has consistently been this years best car as it were last.

Vettle won a grand prix in a Torro Rosso, he's also the youngest driver to win a Grand Prix, the next Micheal Schumacher. Imagine if he had Hamilton's car.

The last time that happened was Jacques Villenueve. His debut season was similar to Hamilton's and guess what, in his second season he won the title in the fastest car. Not one of the great racers but did the same as Hamilton.
