Top destination for a night out. Be sure to pop into the oldest pub in England Ye Olde trip to Jeruselem (alledgedly) and do the tour of the caves underneath.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Also the place in the UK you are most likely to be shot, apparently.

Agree - if you sit upstaires, be careful after afew pints of Ye Olde Trip - as tripping is what you will be doing.

Also - try the Canal House - they have a part of the canal complete with barge inside the pub.
Just call me Matron - Too many handbags

More people were stabbed in High Wycombe last year that shot in Nottingham.

              On purpose?

This weekend I'll be mostly doing some minor DIY (with inherent trips to B&Q), some plan B stuff, and biting my nails as West Brom head to Man Ure.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

It's a shame you would avoid Nottingham because criminals on the edge of town shoot at each other. A bit like avoiding London because it has murder mile.

Absolutely. There are much better reasons to avoid London.

And your point, caller? There's more reasons to avoid London than just fear of death.

I like Nottingham, go there a couple of times a year, take the kids to see the caves and the theme ride at Adventures of Robin Hood.

Yep, there are significantly more women than blokes in Nottingham, or were a few years back.
