He did it for power which makes it worse.

It is me who talks about responsibility for their own actions - people in the City who were responsible for current problems, or someone like you who does not have any conscience at all - I am not suprised you work in the City actually, but it certainly won't be for long.
There's no point talking to you as you have become a mad Rasputin.
Your destiny, if you don't shake outself out of it, is to become one of those sad old bores at the pub, shuffling in in your grubby mac, talking to people about SKA and how you would have become a millionaire if it wasn't for the "City".
        Hard Brexit now!

Worse or better, those both are terrible things to do. The Nu Liebor who build this country on debt in the last 10 years and their chumps in the City (includes reckless lending banks here) are the primary responsible parties.

People also turned out to be more gullible than I'd like to see.

              People will believe almost anything.

EG The Government are set to Nationalise all of The UK Recruiment and Estate Agencys.

              So it goes.

Do you know who Rasputin was actually and what he did?

Not really. I just know he was a mad Russsian like you.
Thankfully unlike you, he had the ear of important people.

What made you think he was mad? This is important since it shows how incorrect you really are - talking out of your sas about things you don't understand.

FYI I happened to like history and read big book on Rasputin - he was not mad at all.
