Being chased for roles at £200pd - just finshed gig on £350pd
To take, or not to take: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The drop in rate and lack my outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of agents,
And by opposing end these cut in rates? To die: to sleep;
No more; and to this credit crunch we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'continue my daily rate’
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: of the 12 month contract on £500 a day, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes us work for a daily rate.Just call me Matron - Too many handbagsComment
