Good luck in Switzerland - hope its not UBS you;re woiring for ?

Swiss bank UBS has said it will cut 2,000 investment banking jobs and will reorganise the unit after being hard hit by sub-prime losses.

No point being nasty to him about Switzerland, everybody always puts a positive spin on where their job takes them. The more overpaid bumfluff we get out of the IT industry during this downturn the better.

It happens every time there's a downturn. The greedy leave the country, the inept go back to permiedom. This slackens the market for the rest of us in between.

So what are you if you take a permie job in another country?
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Goodbye doomy gloomy UK. Never coming back.

Record employment in Swiss & people are happy & lifestyle is gr8.
Back in the 90s I had a one-year contract in Switzerland at one of the banks. It was the works - extremely high rate, free flat, business class flights back to London every weekend if I wanted them.
It was the dullest year in my life. The Swiss are just the most boring people on the planet. No wonder they have a huge drug problem.
              Hard Brexit now!

Celine Dion and Phil Collins live in Switzerland. That should be reason enough never to visit. Perhaps it's a deliberate ploy to keep foreigners out
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Depends if there's a higher rate threshold on personal tax and at what point it takes effect.
