Those of you on lucrative public sector contracts
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.” -

They are suffering already I think as they just had 20000 odd jobs cut afaikOriginally posted by thunderlizard View PostNot especially. It's the £1800/day bloaters like EDS that suffer when people try and cut costs.Comment

Cuts in the public sector are a necessity, but they should and will fall on permies with their taxpayer subsidised pensions, unlimited sick leave, unaccountability and non-jobs.

Perhaps this is Labours strongest card for re-election - now that their economic bundling has been labeled as the fault of the Piggies in the US - the vast amount of State workers who have been angry with their falling property prices (which now they realise was not the fault of Labour - ha ha !) may well yet win the election for Labour as they realise that their cushy State job will be no more should the Tories win -and make no mistake - cut they will.Originally posted by Cyberman View PostCuts in the public sector are a necessity, but they should and will fall on permies with their taxpayer subsidised pensions, unlimited sick leave, unaccountability and non-jobs.
I therefore predict a narrow Labour victory.
