In a similar vien to Incognito's recent thread on how fab ID cards are, I wonder if any of you saw the recent edition on Traffic Cops where the cops picked up some illegal immigrants? The Home Office told the cops to give the illegals a piece of paper telling them to report to Crpydon or Liverpool. The cops said they used to arrest illegals but now there are so many they can't be bothered any more. Needless to say the voice at the end of the prog said these guys were never heard of again. Rather than spending money on tulip for brains id cards, these scummy civil servants need to concentrate on the basics of enforcement.

Have you been watching the new, UK border patrol. The immigration squads arrest them, then release them on their own cognisance to report back for deportation once the paperwork has been sorted out.
Never to be seen again
They said "but they will be on the police national database now as absconders"Last edited by Diver; 30 September 2008, 23:08.Confusion is a natural state of being -

I remember some years ago I liked watching that Airport program on BBC about Heathrow as it involved talking to immigration officers to show how they work and think and catch foreigners trying to cross border with wrong reasons etcComment

Fingerprint, photograph, retinal scan and blood-type everybody in the country, and everybody entering the country, then issue them with an Id card.
anybody that fails to produce their card when asked, should be interred in a work camp until they prove they have a right to be here. anybody that refuses to reveal their true identity or country of origin should be harvested for blood and body parts/doner organs
