Sounds like a lot of the problems are state issues (mayor and governer) and not federal (president).

For starters over 1000 police officers have gone AWOL...RIGHT when they were most bady needed! Not to mention NO police are some of the most incompetent and corrupted police in America!

Then there was the mayor saying that police (what was left of them I guess ) would only be concentrating on rescue not security. As soon as the goon said that he gave a green light for all the tulip that has happened in the city over the last week or so.

Then there was the governer who refused federal aid because she (he?) didnt want it to look like the feds had imposed martial law!

And lets not even get started on the levee's...who according to engineers were sufficient to handle catagory 3 type storms and wouldnt have been strengthened for anything else anyway had the money been available.

Then there was the bulltulip about the NO national guard not being there because they had all just been sent to Iraq. Funny though because NO National Guard has around 12000 people in it and only 3000 had been sent to Iraq. But then again, why let facts get in the way of a good bush bash

I think at the end of the day its just far to convenient to say this is all bushes fault or he dont like blacks or he in cahoots with the evil jews. But then again why let facts get in the way of a good hate'n

Nobody who's watched Live And Let Die would have been surprised at the comical incompetence of the Louisiana State Po-lice!
        Chico, what time is it?

Everyone was warned to evacuate the City well in advance of the storm hitting. Only the really simple-minded chose to stay. Katrina is just nature's way of dealing with the hard of thinking!

I think you'll find them face down, somewhere in the floodwaters.

Still no excuse especially if they're not in uniform.

Not yet - I was going to but with the laughs I get here, which will only increase now that you have made your triumphant comeback, I don't see the need any more. Did you have a good break?

Oh well. The majority of people who didn't move were too poor to go anywhere.

Ps. although I fear SB answer that people who are poor is because they are stupid.

Don't know what's worse... shall we join Rebecca tree-orgying?
